Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday we went to John's house for a BBQ. It was lots of fun. I was disappointed that I forgot my camera. The kids had a great time climbing the climbing tree in the front yard. As soon as Maren got there Emily asked if she would play "Settlers of Zarahemla" with them. I think the game is not much fun but Emily loves it, and Maren was willing.

Sunday we went to the cemetery. I found some great flowers at Sunflower Market that were surprisingly reasonable in price. The kids were excited because last year I diddn't get any flowers and once we got to the cemetery this really bothered them. This time I remembered my camera and I was so excited about the great photos I would take of the kids and the graves and the flowers. I took one picture. It was not great and then my camera flashed the "replace batteries" memo and I had no extra, ugh! So here is the one not so good photo:

It was rainy but not too cold and we really enjoyed being there and remembering our grandmas and grandpas.
